Happy International Worker's Day. I'll be marching with parents with babies crowd for a couple of hours, and hopefully be singing some old labor tunes though if anyone starts in with the Internationale I'll have to pass because damn, that song has too many verses. What are y'all doing for May Day?

However, on Wed afternoons, I go to the Boys and Girls Club which meets in my church basement and tutor math homework for underprivileged upper elementary age kids. Yesterday the director told me she can tell that what I am doing is having an impact, the kids are understanding stuff they didn't before.
So my May Day celebration was the good feeling that gave me.
These are the workers of the future and maybe doing better at math will give them better futures.
